Cedar Knoll is the fullest expression of my philosophy of creative experientialism. It is more than a home, studio, or garden. The 'Knoll is an evolving work where landscape, architecture, craftsmanship, ecology, and creative expression become inseparable - intentionally designed to invite movement, curiosity, reflection, and connection with the natural world. It is both a living canvas and an ongoing exploration of the human/nature relationship—a place where ideas are tested, experienced, and refined before finding expression in my paintings, films, writing, wellness garden designs, and educational work.

  Cedar Knoll reflects my belief that our relationship with nature is not something we simply observe, but something we actively experience, and that thoughtfully designed places can awaken the deep biological and cultural connections that continue to shape our health, creativity, resilience, and sense of belonging.
